Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body and human biosphere (either through gentle touch, or distant meditation). This modality is used to improve the flow and balance of your energy, and to support healing. Often times you may experience warmth or vibration in the body, and it is common to fall asleep during a session.
Reiki is a complementary holistic treatment. It should not be used as a substitute, or for the consultation of, a physician or a psychotherapist.
