I was watching the 90s gem of a movie “Now & Then” with friends last week, and we couldn’t stop laughing at the tarot reader Nadine (played by Janeane Garofalo). She is such a hilarious comedian and I love everything she is in! One friend turned to look at me and said, “you know that was my impression of what it is like to visit a psychic growing up”.

I giggled and let her know that a lot of folks expect something like that their first time, or they even have fear about what they would hear. Many don’t expect psychics to be just average human beings. Especially thanks to the historical theatrics of the spiritual1st movement and the psychic fronds notwork. 😉

But I’m happy that I get to connect with people in a personal and relatable way, because that’s what I would expect if I were sitting with a spiritual mentor.
