Vision Boards 2024
Wanna know a secret? Every single thing I dreamed up on my 2023 vision board came to fruition. All of it! I use vision boards more as something to dream about, when it comes to what enriches my life for the greater good of all. These are images that simply reference thoughts or ideas, and not anything literal or specific. Each image that I chose invokes a feeling or an experience that I had hoped to unlock throughout the year ahead. The way I use vision boards are as aesthetic tools. Something to make you smile, as you follow your flow throughout the year. Something to make me wonder, “ooooh I can’t wait to see how this shows up in my life”. In the past, I tended to use these as structural tools for goal setting or motivation. But I found myself a bit disappointed at year’s end, because it was all about goals and achievement. The way I use them now are much more open ended and it just feels right for me. An offering of how to reconsider the concept of a ‘vision board’. In case some folks see them as another list to follow, or standard to submit to. Use goal setting and manifestation work regularly throughout the year. Let something like a vision board come from joy and unconditional love for yourself and others. What are your thoughts?
